At East Side, we understand that life is all about relationships.  Everything we do is about life's most important relationship--our relationship with Jesus Christ, and how all other relationships--whether it be family, friends, or others-- have greater impact as will build them on the life-changing truths of Jesus Christ.  Whether you have been a follower of Jesus for years or are investigating Him for the first time, our hope is that through everything we do, you'll be drawn to Jesus!  Visit this weekend and experience East Side for yourself.

How do I get to East Side?
What can I expect as I enter the building?
Our greeters should welcome you and present you with a current bulletin, as well as answer any questions you may have and give direction to the right classrooms for each of your family.  You should not only be greeted by our "greeters", but by many in our church family.  A staffed "Welcome Center" is located in the foyer for any additional needs. What can I expect in the Sunday morning worship service?
  • The overall atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.  Wear what you are modestly comfortable in - don't feel like you have to "dress up" to visit our church. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit to East Side.
  • The music is a blend of modern songs of praise with great hymns of the faith designed to bring praise to God, led by our worship team.
  • The messages emphasize Bible-based, relevant, and challenging truths from God's Word.  The service is a little over one hour in length.
  • As a guest, you are not expected to participate in the offering...we want to be a blessing to you.  There are Connection Cards available where you may also list any prayer requests that we can pray for you about.
What other Bible study opportunities do you have
We offer Bible studies on Sunday nights and Wednesday mornings throughout the year.  Throughout the week there are a variety of classes as the year progresses, from Men's and Ladies' Bible studies to Discipleship opportunities, and other studies.  The teens and children's ministries have their own Bible study opportunities and activities as well.

How can I learn more about your church?

  • You may fill out a Connection Card in the services, sign up for a "Welcome to East Side" class, or contact the church office for more information.
  • Whether you are new to Shawnee County or looking for a church home, we sincerely want God's best for you and your family, and we look forward to meeting you personally.
